The dates have been determined; July 31 through August 3, 2009 which is the long week end. The venue will be Duck Mountain Provincial Park and Alpine - the Svenska Luthmissions Kyrkan and the Josephson Homestead.We have booked the Rec Hall for our large gatherings at Madge Lake.Accommodation will be self-booked. There are over 300 camp sites at Pickeral Point. The Duck Mountain Lodge is in the vicinity of the rec hall, as well as condo units and some rather rustic cabins. These facilities can be booked in advance starting in January 2009. We will put out more specific information before the end of this year.Feeding arrangements (important to some!) are being worked on, as is the "program".We did try to get the Madge Lake Bible Camp, but their commitments to their own programs made it impossible for them to accommodate us.Hope to hear from you soon.Royden

Cook Book

Anyone want to compile a second addition family recipe book (hint, hint Wendy and or Kelly & Jen)? Wade Bernacki will HELP. Any old recipes that were not included in the last book from years ago as well as new ones. We will put whom ever takes this on's, e-mail address on this site for recipes to be sent to them. Also we could include some of the original Josephson family favorites from the old book. OK ladies and gentlemen, Norwegians, Swede's cough up your secret ingredients.

Hi Family!
Here we are the first official site gearing up for our 2009 reunion. We will be commemorating Sven and Christina's 100 years arriving in Canada.
Things are starting to come into play now. Looks like a strong possibility that we will be gathering at Madge Lake. This is not a total 100 percent sure thing yet. The long weekend in Aug. is the date that we are trying for.
Please use this blog to keep us all up dated on your family news, reunion suggestions or ideas or maybe just to say "hi I'm here".
Nola Ellingson will be compiling a family directory again and will need any changes or updated information pertaining to home address, phone number,e-mail address,birthdays,weddings.... If She does not receive updates she will assume there is no changes from the 2005 one. For those of you that have family members who have no emailing, please see that they are kept informed of information on this blog now and in future.
